Beecroft Garden – National SATs Results: 2016/17

Children who took their Year 6 SATs tests in May 2017 were able to achieve 4% above the National average for combined progress. However, our progress in separate areas dropped from above average (2015/16) to average.

·       Percentage of pupils achieving the expected  standard in reading, writing and mathematics 65%
·       Average progress in reading + 0.19
·       Average progress in writing + 2.16
·       Average progress in mathematics -0.11
·       Percentage of pupils achieving a high level of attainment in reading, writing and mathematics 0%
·       Average scaled score in reading 100.9
·       Average scaled score in mathematics 100.7

Beecroft Garden – National SATs Results: 2015/16

Children who took their Year 6 SATs tests in May 2016 were the first to try the new National Curriculum.

·       Percentage of pupils achieving the expected  standard in reading, writing and mathematics 46%
·       Average progress in reading + 4.3
·       Average progress in writing + 3.6
·       Average progress in mathematics + 1.8
·       Percentage of pupils achieving a high level of attainment in reading, writing and mathematics 2%
·       Average scaled score in reading 103
·       Average scaled score in mathematics 101

 
We ensure that all our children have an enriched, well rounded curriculum. Year 6 are fully involved in art, music and sporting activities. Year 6 enjoy their education and have a very positive attitude and approach to their learning.

We were delighted to receive a letter from The Minister of State for Schools congratulating us on our Key Stage 2 test performance in Summer 2012!
