At the heart of our school lies a vibrant commitment to the arts, where creativity, expression, and imagination shape every child’s learning journey. Through the arts, our students discover their voices, deepen their confidence, and connect more meaningfully with the world around them.

A summary of the arts offer at Beecroft
Children in Years 1–6 enjoy dedicated art enrichment led by our specialist teacher, Mrs Wilson, experiencing a full day of art each week over a half-term.
All children perform across a year and display art work at our yearly art exhibition
We are currently the Lead Music School (Primary) for the South East London Music hub.
All children receive weekly music lessons from our specialist music teacher Ms Hands.
Additional whole class music lessons are given to children in year 3, who learn drumming, and year 4, who learn guitar.
We have a range of peripatetic music teachers and offer a range of after school music activities.
Children experience a range of high quality arts trips including gallery visits, theatre trips and performances.
Our arts team are regular called upon to present best practice approaches.
